The Illithid

For people who dont know: The Illithid or Mindflayer as they are also known as, is a intelligent monster in Dungeon and Dragons that devour brains of other races. Once a mighty force in the universe, is now few in numbers and mostly hidden from the world, in the vast cave/tunnel system, known as the Underdark.

I really dig mindflayers, their lore and legend and they look like Cthulhu! Amazing all around!
